- Information from third parties: Basic profile data from authentication providers if you use third-party sign-in, and subscription status and payment confirmation from Stripe.
How we use your information
- We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, generate and deliver invoices on your behalf, process payments, authenticate your account, send service updates and billing notifications, improve the Service, and detect fraud or unauthorized access.
- For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process personal data on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation as applicable.
Your client data
- Client information you store in Fastinvoice (including names, addresses, and contact details) is used solely to populate and deliver your invoices. This data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes, is never sold, and is permanently deleted upon account termination or upon your request.
How we share your information
- We share data with sub-processors acting on our behalf: Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (transactional email). Analytics data shared with third-party analytics providers is anonymized.
- We may also share your information in connection with a business transfer or acquisition, in response to a valid legal request, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fastinvoice, our users, or the public. We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage and security
- Account and invoice data is stored on secure servers. We apply SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, 256-bit encryption for sensitive data at rest, and need-to-know access controls for our team.
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we implement industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
Data retention
- We retain account and invoice data while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
- Payment data is retained as required by financial regulations and processed by Stripe. Analytics data is kept in anonymized, aggregated form.
- When data is no longer necessary, we will delete or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you.

- You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights via your account dashboard or by contacting us. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
- EEA residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California residents have rights under CCPA, including the right to know what data is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and tracking
- We use essential cookies (required for authentication and security), functional cookies (preferences and settings), analytics cookies (usage patterns), and performance cookies (monitoring). You can control cookies via your browser settings, though disabling some may limit Service functionality.
- We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals from browsers.
